Briese 4KW HMI

We’ve been really excited recently with the emergence of the fantastic Briese lights and Direct have just taken delivery of the 4KW HMI unit.

If you haven’t already heard of these much talked about lighting reflectors then you should take a look, the Focus reflector units are interchangeable between flash and HMI systems and Direct arranged with Breise in Germany to adapt these units to work with Profoto’ s Pro8 Air flash packs giving you a flash pack that you are familiar with and a light source that is simply stunning both in continuous HMI and flash mode.

These distinctive high quality parabolic reflectors deliver a beautiful crisp light and coupled with their unique design means the reflectors are fully focusable from sharp edges to soft fill and they look pretty cool too…

At Direct we are currently renting the Focus 100cm, 140cm, 180cm and a recent addition is the 220cm reflector, all are compatible with a HMI or Flash. So if you are shooting stills and motion on the same shoot then you can now interchange between HMI and flash and only use one reflector – genius!
