DIRECT PHOTOGRAPHIC : London, United Kingdom Direct Photographic is a world leading supplier of rental equipment and associated facilities to the professional photographic market. We are currently seeking a highly organised Transport Controller to join our busy central London based transport department to supervise drivers and related personnel in the efficient delivery/collection of equipment and ensure that all associated procedures are maintained to the highest standards. Applicants will have a minimum of two years experience working in a senior position within a logistics environment and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of transport/vehicle legislation including driver hours, tachograph regulations and safe working practices. Proven experience in the precise planning and routing of vehicle deliveries/collections throughout London and the UK is also essential. Excellent communication skills and PC literacy including: Excel, Word and Outlook is required for this position as is a positive, methodical approach to work. Knowledge of camera and lighting equipment plus an understanding of the photographic process would also be beneficial. A relevant transport qualification such as a CPC licence is preferable but not compulsory. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience. |
