Johnnie Walker – Step Inside the Circuit

Direct teamed up with sister company Direct Paris to supply equipment, labour and logistics for the latest Johnnie Walker campaign, shot in Monaco during the F1 race weekend in May.

A seamless logistical operation was undertaken to get kit to Monaco during what is arguably the most famous date in the F1 calendar. Getty Images’ production arm Orchard Represents, followed a meticulous minute-by-minute timetable in order to complete the 6 shots featuring 5 locations all in just one hectic day. The shots included both McLaren team drivers, Jensen Button and Lewis Hamilton on location at the F1 circuit. Props and locations included a helicopter, a multimillion pound yacht as well as temporary ‘weather’ studio. Needless to say the crew were exhausted yet exhilarated over the course of the shoot and delighted with the final shots.
