Direct Photographic introduces three new vehicles to its London based transport fleet
February 2012
Three brand new Mercedes Sprinter trucks, specifically chosen to offer increased efficiencies and to lower the environmental impact of our daily delivery and collection service, have been added to our range of vehicles. Comprising of two 5.5 tonne trucks plus a 3.5 tonne version, our new range of Sprinters are now liveried and ready to roll out across the streets of London.
With their LEZ compliant engines, these ‘eco friendly’ trucks conform fully with the recently updated rules applicable to the London low emissions zone. Additionally, the cleaner running Mercedes ‘Blue efficiency’ stop start technology means the end of idling engines whilst waiting or queuing, allowing even greater reductions in emissions.
Extra modifications to these far from standard models include the addition of tail lifts, load lock systems to accommodate our custom designed equipment cages, super slick aerodynamic bodywork and integral satellite navigation systems to ensure we always arrive via the quickest route and on time.
These new additions to the Direct Photographic fleet will replace existing, older vans and help augment our commitment to the phasing out of less environmentally friendly vehicles.
